Media experience and communication style.

Storytelling is a key aspect of my work. Rather than simply convey facts, I believe it best to communicate information, and that can hold intellectual and emotional value for the recipient.

Correspondence: Arte Museum

One-day shoot at an amazing venue. Wrote/developed the story and filmed on the spot. Collaborations like this where things fall into place organically are a joy. The focus on these kinds of pieces is the unedited reaction to the space, the technology, and the story. The aim here is to help the viewer FEEL like they can imagine what it would be like to be there, and hopefully draw them to attend.

Telly Award Winner: Virtual Production in Orlando

Virtual Production is one of the fastest growing industries in Pro AV. And although it's been used for big-budget movies and TV shows, companies like Vū Studios are making virtual production more accessible for anyone with any size budget. Take a tour of their massive production space in Orlando, Florida to see the latest AV technology and learn more about the expertise needed to pull it all off.

Correspondence: 4DX in Barcelona

The video team at AVIXA takes you on a tour of Cines Filmax Theater in Barcelona that uses 4DX technology to engage visitors’ senses as they watch a movie. From a 270-degree screen, the haptics in the seats – even smells! — you have to see experience it for yourself. This was the very first correspondence piece I hosted for AVIXA TV where I had the opportunity to write the story. The reception and narrative quality sparked a slew of correspondence work from then on.

Correspondence: AREA15 in Las Vegas

AREA15 is unlike anything in Las Vegas. I meet with JD Bouck, Director of Production to take a tour and get a sense of what makes this facility unique. Correspondence work like this is entirely unscripted, generally opportunistic, and often relies on me and the production crew to discover, capture, and convey the story in almost real time.
